SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
WILDLAND-URBAN INTERFACE (WUI)

CAOBA's window and door products, constructed with insulated glass containing a minimum of one tempered pane, comply with ANSI Z97.1 and CPSC 16CFR 1201 Category I and II. These standards meet the requirements of California Building Code Chapter 7 and International Building Code Section 2406 Safety Glazing.

CERTIFICATIONS
IMPACT

CAOBA manufactures Hurricane Impact units that meet Florida Building Code High-Velocity Hurricane Zone (HVHZ) and ASTM International E 1996/E 1886 standards that are required on coastal projects, also valid in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties. Our IMPACT-certified units are designed to withstand the force of a Hurricane Category 4.

CAOBA offers a diverse range of architecturally tailored products. Our Impact line undergoes rigorous air pressure, water penetration, and structural tests to ensure resilience in storms. These tests evaluate air filtration, water resistance, and structural integrity, with higher ratings for thicker glass and premium materials. Our commitment is to exceed industry standards, providing durable and high-performing products.

FIRE-RATED

Fire-resistant doors, strategically compartmentalize buildings, containing fire and smoke. Vital for safety, these doors impede fire spread, aid evacuation, and expedite firefighting—integral to passive fire protection.

Fire doors vary in their resistance levels, measured by the time it takes for fire to compromise the door. Regardless of the duration, all fire doors share essential features:

Integrity: Withstands fire exposure on one side, preventing flame or gas escape to the non-exposed side.
Insulation: Endures fire impact without transferring heat to the non-exposed side.
Fire Resistance Time: Typically specified as 20, 45, 60, or 90 minutes, adhering to American regulations (UL doors).
Durability: Maintains functionality, clearance, and opening/closing speed after numerous cycles.

At CAOBA, we specialize in crafting tailored solutions to meet the unique needs and specific requirements of your state or region. Our commitment is to enhance the performance of residential or commercial units within homes or buildings. Count on us to manufacture customized products that not only meet but exceed your expectations, ensuring optimal functionality and satisfaction.
